Reporting A computer system is only as good as the information you can get out of it. We have taken the point of view that you should have access to all your data. All reporting is done using Microsoft™ Access. We will install a standard set of reports but you are free to create your own custom reports. EMS is installed with a standard set of reports. These include student rotations, preceptor rotations and much more. You can see a list of all your rotations arranged by student, preceptor or date. This report can be combined with a mail merge report to quickly and easily notify your preceptors about their assigned students. When accreditation time comes, you can print your reports showing that you know exactly where your students are on their rotations and what activities they are performing. You can sit down with the inspectors and show them a list of every rotation. The days of searching through filing cabinets or stacks of papers are a thing of the past. The reports you can create are only limited by your imagination. You can have a report showing which students have completed their evaluations or listing the students that haven't completed them.
